RUTHANNA MET THIS SOUTHERN BOY ON CATALINA ISLAND ONE SUMMER. IT WAS NOT LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT BUT DAVEY FELL IN LOVE WITH HER KIND HEART AND BEAUTIFUL SMILE VERY QUICKLY. THEY MOVED TO BEAUTIFUL BISHOP, CALIFORNIA! THEIR LOVE COULDN’T BE PURER, THEY LAUGH AND GIGGLE JUST BY BEING AROUND EACH OTHER.
The day finally came for them to get married and Davey looked so nervous, even though he was trying to acting like he was holding it together. But his reaction at their first look said otherwise. October 16, 2016, was the perfect day for a wedding the weather was perfect, the breeze was nice and everything was in just the right place.
THERE IS NOTHING MORE PRECIOUS THAN SEEING TWO PEOPLE VOW THEMSELVES TO EACH OTHER FOR THE REST OF THEIR DAYS! THAT MOMENT BECOMES EVEN MORE PERFECT WHEN THE BRIDE AND GROOM WRITE THEIR OWN VOWS. I CAN’T HELP BUT CRY WHEN I HEAR VOWS BEING RECITED, BECAUSE I AM A HOPELESS ROMANTIC!
The ceremony was held beneath “The Grand Oak”. It has been estimated to be between 900-1300 years old. This would make it the second oldest Coastal Oak in the world. This tree symbolizes the strength and longevity of Ruthanna and Davids beautiful marriage.
