Griffith Observatory Engagement | L.A.

July 3, 2018

Griffith Observatory | Los Angeles California

Emily + Josh

Emily and Josh had contacted me quite some time ago about their beautiful wedding that was supposed to take place at the christmas house in Rancho Cucamonga. It is such a perfect venue for the couple that loves the vintage vibes and a big wedding, but its not for everyone. A couple months later I got a call from Emily saying that a big wedding was not a dream of hers and the stress of planning a wedding was more work that it was fun. SO, she made the best decision she could ever make! She canceled her big wedding and is making her dreams come true by having a small intimate wedding in Belize!!! This was by far the best phone call I could have ever gotten! WE ARE ALL HEADING TO BELIZE FOR THE MOST AMAZING WEDDING IN FRONT OF THE MAYAN RUINS!!!

Big weddings are not for everyone and being adventurous and flying to another country isn’t for everyone either. The beauty of planning your wedding is you can make it exactly how you want it. I personally love the adventure and beauty of an intimate wedding, but also weddings close to home are always so dear to my heart. Ultimately, this is YOUR wedding day no one else’s. You can’t please everyone and you should go with your heart in having the best dang day of your dreams!

I suggested Josh and Emily do their engagement session at the Griffith Observatory because they had mentioned their favorite date nights take place in L.A. This spot has one of Los Angeles’ best views! They loved the idea because it was such a sweet spot in their relationship, and holds so many beautiful memories. I can’t wait to embark on this journey with them, emily has sent me photos of all the pretty details she has incorporated into her wedding day that have so much meaning. and I JUST CAN’T WAIT!

Congratulations Emily + Josh, see you in November!
