SHYANNE + SEBASTIAN

Sometimes we meet people in the right place at just the right time, and sometimes we need to go through tough times to find the people we are truly meant to be with. I met these two in the summer of this year, This Salt lake city photographer (Me)was beyond excited for this shoot.. because I mean.. I’m a little obsessed with them! We were all set to do their photoshoot with their amazing puppies Wilson & Chauncey. We hadn’t even started our shoot when Wilson decided to jump off the 3 story rooftop. DON’T WORRY he is alive and well! But when we went to the emergency room we all sat there waiting and I told them my life story of being left on my wedding day (Read full story here), Shyanne responded with “I am a divorced woman” and Sebastian “I moved here for a girl and then we broke up”. Even though these all sound like tragic stories they all lead to something so beautiful!! We learned through these relationships what love really was and we found it (maybe a little skeptical at first). After they met it didn’t take long for them to realize what being with your true soulmate felt like. This is what Shyanne had to say about Sebastian:

Meeting Sebastian was a constant questioning of, “You can’t really be this wonderful, can you?” Because before him my standard was, you find someone and you make it work because love is hard and it won’t be any easier with anyone else. My pursuit of love wasn’t the most romantic, then again my whole life had been nothing but the standard I spoke of above, so I genuinely didn’t know of anything else. Then I met Sebastian. He wasn’t my savior or anything of that nature, but he was the one person who completely turned my world upside down when it came to my opinion of love. I’ve found that love cares more about the other person than being right, it isn’t conditional, it doesn’t have to be hard nor should it be. If I can plead anything with you it would be this, don’t let bitterness rob you of the chance to love again. The pursuit of what you deserve is worth it. You are worth it.

     Sebastian obviously felt the same because he knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her soon after he met her.

Started dating December 12th
Engaged February 22nd
Married May 3rd
Bought our first house July 2nd

I’ll tell you, 5 minutes with these two and you will see their undying love for each other! If you are ever doubting if love is real, or that your person is out there. JUST YOU WAIT! There is someone out there that will complete you in more ways you could ever imagine. and When you know.. you know. Be grateful for the milestones and maybe even heartache to bring you to the one whom your soul truly loves. They got married in the middle of the week at the court house and couldn’t have been better! Honestly, your wedding can be as grand or intimate as you want but make it YOURS <3 This is the day you will look back on for the rest of your life. And its is so special in every way! Who knew that this New York chief and Mirco-blading fashionista would find each other and fall in love!
